Application Instructions

TO RECEIVE FULL CONSIDERATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETE. PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY.

  1. Fill out the financial portion (the Financial Aid Questionnaire) of your application first and seal it in a plain business-sized envelope.  Mark a large $ sign on the BACK of this envelope.  Do not enclose anything else since this envelope is forwarded unopened to an outside consultant for evaluation.  Mail it to the address below to be received no later than April 22, 2008.

  1. Complete the Personal Data Application Form.  The criteria used for awards are primarily financial need, academic achievement, and community service.  Please include everything that you think the awards committee should know, as they will not know your name when the applications are reviewed.  It is important that answers to the narrative portions be as complete and detailed as possible to provide substantive information to the committee.  Be specific about work experiences, contributions to school and to the community.  College students should concentrate on activities pursued at that level rather than in high school.

  1.  Completed applications must be received no later than May 2, 2008.  Your guidance department, registrar and your references, however, should have the application no later than April 2, 2008, to give them ample time to complete their part.  Some post-secondary schools are very slow in sending out transcripts, so we advise you to request one be sent as soon as you know you are going to apply.

The address to be used for all application materials is:
